Engine

The Kubota RTV-X Cab boasts a powerful 23.3HP liquid-cooled diesel engine for long and strenuous tasks. The 3-cylinder engine is quiet, powerful and a renowned bulletproof marvel at the true heart of the RTV-X Series. From towing and hauling to running through rough terrain, it ensures the machine will consistently show up to work as hard as you.

Transmission

Kubota has more experience in variable hydraulic transmissions than any other Utility Vehicle manufacturer.

The RTV-X Cab comes standard with Kubota’s VHT-X HD (High Durability) transmission. It delivers smooth, powerful acceleration and keeps work performance strong in heavy-duty tasks and hilly areas, with towing capacity of up to 1,000 kg from the rear hitch.

You’ll shift less often and maintain better control, thanks to transmission gearing with just two forward speeds (high and low), plus neutral and reverse. The RTV-X Cab uses multi-disc wet brakes, which provide longer brake life.

Safety

The RTV-X Cab’s unibody cab and chassis frame meets SAE J2194 and OSHA 1928 ROPS standards, and seat belts are standard for added peace of mind. You’ll also feel more secure, especially when travelling down long inclines, knowing that dynamic braking is providing additional braking power and greater driving control. LED headlights with high and low beam light the way for jobs that start before sunrise and finish well after sunset.

The meter panel alerts all major vehicle functions, featuring seatbelt and parking brake alarms, as well as overheating and intermediate gear control indicators. The modern LCD display provides excellent visibility at all times.

Cabin Comfort

The RTV-X Cab’s factory-installed, fully enclosed cab wraps you in comfort. It’s built on a unibody cab and chassis frame, with a customer-centric design that puts your experience in the machine first. Air conditioning, heating and defrost come standard, so you stay comfortable through scorching summers, frosty mornings and everything in between.

Inside, it’s noticeably quieter, with perceivable noise reduced by almost 50% compared to the RTV-X1100C. Now drivers and passengers can enjoy the conversation as much as the ride. Redesigned headrests provide support for driver and passenger and match the machine’s exterior styling. It’s the perfect blend of utility performance and all-weather comfort.

Cargo Capacity

It’s not enough to get you there and back. You need to get your stuff there and back as well. The RTV-X Cab’s heavy-duty steel cargo bed can do that for you, carrying up to a half-ton (500 kg) of tools, firewood, gear, supplies... whatever you need to haul from here to there and back again.

With the flick of a single lever, the hydraulic dump bed raises, and you can control the speed for more precise unloading. Sand, gravel, turf or just about anything else slides out of the 0.43 m³ cargo bed in seconds. A spray-on bed liner helps reduce scratches and dents. The ProKonvert bed opens from either side or the rear for easy loading, and converts to a flatbed without tools for bulky or awkward loads.
