Swing and down-pressure mechanisms

The mower unit is equipped with a three‑direction swing mechanism that allows it to follow severe undulations accurately while preventing the cutting units from sliding sideways during turns, enabling confident mowing and reducing the risk of scalping. Its down‑pressure mechanism further stabilizes the mower by minimizing bounce, helping the unit maintain consistent contact with the turf and follow the contour cleanly for a smooth, high‑quality finish.

Anti‑Scalping Design

The lightweight mowing units reduce turf stress while improving the mower’s climbing performance, delivering a clean cut with reduced risk of scalping even on heavily undulating or soft, mat‑like surfaces. The short distance between the front and rear rollers enhances slope performance, and the adjustable reel covers allow for either forward or rear clipping ejection.

Smooth performance

The LM331 features a smooth and responsive hydrostatic drive system with selectable 2WD or 3WD, supported by a hydraulic circuit designed to minimise turf marking. Its 18 hp diesel engine is mounted transversely above the driving wheels to provide maximum traction, delivering excellent fuel efficiency, long operating duration from the 25‑litre fuel tank, and the world‑renowned reliability expected from Baroness equipment.
